| The rapid growth of the hospitality industry and the need for well-trained and experienced managers provide extraordinary opportunities for excellent positions upon graduation. Frequently, students get their first career offers during their internships, and many conclude a second optional internship with a promotion to a supervisory or management position.
The Director of Placement is able to assist students in obtaining positions and in meeting alumni of the college to develop a network within the profession. The Director of Placement maintains a list of employment opportunities, a central repository for student and alumni resumes. When employers contact the Director of Placement looking for employees, the Director will send out resumes that match the employers' needs.
